Description
Panthalassa is hiring a full-time Sourcing Engineer to bridge early-stage node designs with external manufacturing suppliers. The role evaluates CAD models and blueprints, provides design-for-manufacturing feedback, audits supplier capabilities, manages technical interfaces and change orders, and builds long-term relationships with contract manufacturers, steel fabricators, machining and casting suppliers. Candidates need at least four years of experience in technical sourcing, supply chain engineering, global sourcing, or manufacturing engineering, along with blueprint and GD&T literacy and familiarity with machining, welding, and large forgings or castings. The position is on-site in Portland, Oregon, with potential travel to suppliers and manufacturing locations.
