Description
MatX is hiring a Strategic Sourcing Manager to develop and execute global sourcing strategies for datacenter rack development, rack-level integration, contract manufacturing, and key hardware-module vendors. The role leads supplier selection, commercial negotiations, RFXs, pricing agreements, supplier relationship management, risk mitigation, and total-cost-of-ownership initiatives while partnering with hardware engineering, supply chain, legal, and executive leadership. Candidates need at least seven years of strategic sourcing, global supply management, or procurement experience in high-tech, rack manufacturing, or advanced hardware industries, along with strong negotiation, technical, and leadership capabilities. The position offers a US base salary of $175,000 to $400,000 plus equity for mid-career candidates, with additional medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other benefits.
