Description
Wabtec is hiring a Sourcing Manager to own commodity strategy, supplier management, performance, budgets, and frame agreements for maintenance-of-way machinery parts. The role involves sourcing domestic and international suppliers, qualifying suppliers, preparing and analyzing bids, managing supplier contracts and corrective actions, driving cost reduction and continuous improvement, and collaborating with engineering, materials, finance, quality, and operations teams. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field or five years of manufacturing experience, at least three years of sourcing or related experience or eight years of purchasing experience, ERP and financial analysis skills, strong negotiation and supplier relationship skills, and the ability to influence senior management. The salary range is $79,100–$112,800, with health, welfare, retirement, and possible annual bonus benefits.
