Description
The Women's Coaching Alliance is hiring participants for its Coach Today, Lead for Life program, a paid two-season leadership development experience. Participants coach young athletes in their community alongside a peer co-coach, prepare and adapt practices and game plans, communicate with athletes, parents, co-coaches, and staff, and attend scheduled practices, games, and mentor check-ins. The program requires participants to be at least 15 years old or a rising sophomore, have played the sport at the middle school level or higher, be reliable and available, have transportation, and complete required forms and background checks. Compensation is hourly pay at minimum wage, with volunteer-hour documentation available for coaches who opt out of pay.
