Description
Intuitive Machines is seeking a Space Environments Engineer to provide multidisciplinary technical analysis, modeling, and systems engineering support for NASA JSC programs such as Moon Base, Artemis, HLS, CLDP, and SR-1. The role focuses on natural and induced space environments, spacecraft contamination and optical-property impacts, plasma and radiation effects, hardware compatibility, requirements and verification planning, and risk and hazard reviews. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, 5–10 years of related experience, scientific programming and software development experience, and strong analytical and computational skills; an M.S. or Ph.D. and experience with NASA programs, contamination-analysis tools, materials effects, thruster plumes, and space-environment standards are preferred.
