Description
Umbra is hiring an experienced Space Mission Systems Engineer to serve as a technical lead and mission architect for Mission Solutions, driving mission concept, architecture, integration, test, launch readiness, and early operations for spacecraft, payloads, and ground systems. The role is on-site in Reston, Virginia or Arlington, Virginia, requires significant satellite/aerospace systems experience, a bachelor’s degree in a technical field, and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance. The position includes work across the full mission lifecycle, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and occasional travel to Umbra facilities and partner/customer sites.
