Description
Peraton is seeking a Space Operations Controller to join their team at the Fort Irwin Complex in California. This role involves operating, adjusting, and testing station tracking and support equipment at the Goldstone Deep Space Communications Complex (GDSCC) to support the Space Communications Network Services (DSN) Contract with NASA. Key responsibilities include performing adjustments and tests for pre-mission setup, conducting Level 1 maintenance tasks for station tracking systems, completing station operations paperwork, assisting in applying station programs and procedures, training to become a Lead Space Operations Controller, and working independently under the direction of a more experienced controller. The successful candidate will also need to respond rapidly to events in a real-time environment and report to the Shift Supervisor (SOD).
