Description
The Space Situational Awareness Engineer will develop and optimize collision-avoidance and orbital-risk algorithms, integrate third-party sensor data, fuse space-debris observations, validate algorithms, and transition prototypes into production. The role requires an M.Sc. or higher in a relevant field, at least five years of relevant experience, strong astrodynamics and orbital-mechanics knowledge, and experience with scientific programming in Java, Fortran, or Python. It is based in Braunschweig, Germany, with on-site, remote, or hybrid work options after onboarding.
