Omitron is hiring a full-time, mid-level Space Systems DevOps Engineer to support mission-critical Space Domain Awareness/Command and Control programs at Vandenberg Space Force Base. The role bridges infrastructure and systems teams with orbital analysts, administering and hardening Linux systems in an air-gapped, DISA STIG-compliant environment; configuring virtualization and storage; tuning compute, storage, network, and virtualization performance; maintaining CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code pipelines; and developing Python 3 automation and monitoring tooling. The position requires U.S. citizenship, an active DoD Secret clearance, a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, and at least four years of combined systems administration, DevOps, or software engineering experience.
