Northrop Grumman Space Systems is hiring an Embedded Software Engineer in Rolling Meadows, Illinois, to develop and customize software subsystems and defense electronics for space and national-defense systems. The role supports requirements analysis, system design, coding, testing, and verification, with a focus on safety-critical real-time systems, digital signal processing, and secure software. The position requires a Top Secret clearance with SCI, a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree, C/C++ experience, and related embedded software and hardware testing experience. It is 100% onsite on a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off, requires 10% travel, and offers a base salary of $87,600 to $131,400.
