Description
Space Systems Integration is hiring a full-time, on-site Space Systems Engineer in Albuquerque, New Mexico, to support the development of first-of-kind space vehicles and missions. The role provides System Engineering Technical Assistance to a government customer, covering cryptographic and communications hardware and software, space-rated systems, payload engineering, requirements, risk management, program oversight, and technical guidance. The position requires at least five years of DoD/IC or relevant industry experience, an applicable engineering degree or professional engineering license, relevant advanced degree, cryptographic and satellite communications expertise, DoD program management experience, and active TS clearance with in-scope T5/SSBI, SCI eligibility, and SAP access. The engineer will work near Kirtland Air Force Base with up to 30% travel within the continental United States.
