Description
Amazon is hiring a Space Systems Modeling and Analysis Engineer to develop and deploy high-fidelity computational models of multi-orbit space architectures supporting satellite communications, navigation warfare, space-based sensing and targeting, and missile warning and tracking. The role involves parallelizable simulations, trade studies, ground and space-based threat modeling, Alt-PNT and Space Data Network architectures, sensor performance analysis, and resilience assessments under degraded conditions. Candidates must be U.S. citizens, obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance, and have a STEM bachelor's degree plus at least three years of relevant space-systems modeling and simulation experience. The position is based in El Segundo and Northridge, California, with a base salary of $129,200 to $174,800 annually.
