Description
Azora is hiring a Space Segment Hardware Engineer to support the development of flight terminals and supporting avionics for its optical communications technology. The role covers system architecture, requirements development, design reviews, verification and validation, environmental qualification, technical interfaces, risk management, assembly and integration testing, launch-site operations, and on-orbit commissioning. It requires a BS or MS in a relevant engineering or physics field, hands-on experience with real or flight-like hardware, and knowledge of systems engineering and environmental qualification. The position is onsite or hybrid in Tempe, Arizona or the Bay Area, California, with expected travel for test campaigns and vendor or manufacturing visits.
