Description
The role involves technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk analysis, supportability and effectiveness analyses, and the conversion of customer requirements into spacecraft-platform solutions. It covers the spacecraft bus and its performance across the product lifecycle, including concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal. The candidate must represent the platform to the customer, understand its characteristics and performance, and may guide major projects in a leadership capacity. Significant related experience is required, with satellite design experience desirable.
