Description
K2 is hiring a Spacecraft Propulsion Technician to support the assembly, integration, testing, and production acceptance of Hall-effect thruster systems. The role involves hands-on mechanical, electrical, and fluid-systems work, including thruster and sub-assembly assembly, COPV proof testing, leak checks, tubing and wire-harness fabrication, vacuum-chamber setup, and MES-based traceability. Candidates need at least three years of aerospace assembly and test experience in propulsion, pressure systems, fluid systems, or high-reliability hardware, along with familiarity with pressure testing, MES/MRP software, calibrated tools, FOD and ESD-sensitive hardware, and clean-room requirements. The position offers $35–$45 hourly plus equity and medical, dental, and vision coverage.
