Description
The Special Education Classroom Assistant supports Special Education teachers in elementary and high schools by assisting students with disabilities, providing one-on-one tutoring and personal hygiene services, helping with classroom equipment and daily living skills, correcting homework, maintaining behavior records, and accompanying students on field trips. The role requires a valid TASN paraprofessional license or the ability to obtain one after completing the required college credit or paraprofessional exam, along with knowledge of disabilities, English, and basic mathematics.
