Description
The Special Education Coordinator supports children with mental, psychological, learning, behavioral, or physical disabilities by overseeing IEP and 504 plan implementation, coordinating special education instruction and related services, maintaining student records, reporting to state and federal agencies, supporting families, and mentoring classroom staff. The role also assists with national accreditation, professional development, center operations, and travel between centers. It requires a master’s degree or bachelor’s degree with special education certification, at least one year of special education classroom teaching experience, and at least two years of supervision and program experience.
