Description
The Special Education Coordinator supports 5th–8th grade students with exceptionalities by maintaining compliant special education records, IEP and evaluation timelines, PowerSchool and SER data, IDEA counts, and service delivery systems. The role coordinates multidisciplinary meetings, complex case analyses, academic and behavioral progress monitoring, staff training, and professional development while coaching Teacher Case Managers and contributing to school leadership. It requires a bachelor's degree, at least three years of effective teaching experience, and at least one year of SEC experience with clean audits; a master's degree is preferred.
