The Special Education Paraeducator supports students with disabilities in a 35-hour-per-week school-year schedule for Klickitat School District. The role assists the Special Education Teacher with IEP- or IFSP-based lesson planning, one-on-one and small-group instruction, classroom management, observation and assessment, data collection, communication with parents and staff, behavior support, and student physical needs. The position pays $21.82–$26.99 per hour and requires a high school diploma or GED, one of several specified educational or assessment qualifications, criminal and fingerprint checks, and regular attendance.
