Description
The Special Education Paraeducator supports students with disabilities in the Glenwood School District by assisting with IEP- or IFSP-based lesson planning, one-on-one and small-group instruction, classroom management, observation, assessment, data collection, and communication with parents and staff. The role also supervises students, provides behavior support, attends to physical and hygiene needs, and participates in education-team activities. It is a 32.5-hour-per-week school-year assignment with a salary range of $21.82 to $26.99 per hour and requires a high school diploma or GED plus one of several specified educational or assessment qualifications.
