Description
The Special Education Paraeducator supports students with disabilities in a school setting by assisting with IEP- or IFSP-aligned lesson planning, one-on-one and small-group instruction, classroom management, observation and assessment, data collection, communication with parents and staff, behavior support, and physical-care assistance. The role is 32.5 hours per week on a school-year schedule at Ilwaco HS in the Ocean Beach School District, with a full salary range of $21.82 to $26.99 per hour. Applicants need a high school diploma or GED plus one of several specified educational or assessment qualifications, and must pass criminal-history and fingerprint checks.
