Description
The Special Education Paraeducator supports the Special Education Teacher in serving students with disabilities in school settings for Waitsburg School District. Responsibilities include preparing lesson materials, providing one-on-one and small group instruction, classroom management, data collection, student supervision, communication with parents and staff, and assisting with physical and personal care needs. The role is 35 hours per week on a school-year schedule, requires a high school diploma or GED plus one of several additional education/assessment benchmarks, and prefers experience in special education and knowledge of disability services.
