Description
The Special Education Teacher develops and implements individualized education plans, plans and delivers adapted instruction, manages student data and progress monitoring, conducts IEP meetings, communicates with parents, and supervises paraeducators in the classroom. The role reports to the Principal and requires a bachelor’s degree, Pennsylvania Special Education certification or emergency certification, and one year of experience working with a special needs population. The position is in a routine school environment and may involve physical interventions, student transport, and participation in school events.
