Nexus Family Healing is hiring a full-time Special Education Teacher for Safe Harbor School in Manteno, Illinois. The role provides direct instruction and instructional support to students with disabilities in inclusive and self-contained settings, collaborates with general education teachers on IEP implementation, manages IEP development and compliance, adapts curriculum, maintains student records, and supports families and service providers. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with a salary of $58,000 to $70,000 annually based on credentials and teaching experience. A bachelor’s degree in education or a related field, a valid Illinois Professional Educator License with LBS1 endorsement, eligibility to teach students with disabilities across K–12 settings, and a valid driver’s license are required; a master’s degree and teaching experience are preferred.
