The Lansing School District is hiring a full-time Special Education Teacher to provide inclusive instruction and support to students with special education needs across Averill and Post Oak. The role includes helping students meet IEP goals, differentiating instruction in math, literacy, social studies, and science, documenting progress, collaborating with general education teachers, parents, and school leaders, and maintaining a safe and welcoming learning environment. Applicants need a bachelor's degree and previous experience working with students with special education needs; a Michigan teaching certificate with a special education endorsement, urban teaching experience, and training in CRPBIS, CPI, or related instructional methodologies are preferred.
