Description
Rivermont Schools is hiring an ABA-based Special Education Teacher for its Roanoke campus, which serves approximately 40 students with emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges. The role delivers individualized instruction across core academic subjects, develops and implements IEPs, applies positive behavior support strategies, collects behavioral and academic data, and collaborates with clinical professionals. Requirements include a bachelor's degree in Special Education, Education, or a related field; an active Virginia Department of Education license with a Special Education endorsement or eligibility to obtain licensure within 90 days; at least one year of classroom experience supporting students with autism, EBD, or related disabilities; familiarity with IEP development, ABA principles, and positive behavior support; and a valid Virginia driver's license.
