Description
The K-12 Special Education Teacher will monitor student learning, deliver differentiated academic instruction, manage classrooms, implement IEP goals and accommodations, monitor reading and math progress, and communicate with students, families, and colleagues. The role requires foundational K-12 or non-traditional school experience, a bachelor’s degree in education or a closely related field, teacher certification completed or in process, a valid driver’s license and registered vehicle, and an ESL/ELL certificate or endorsement; a master’s degree in special education and Rhode Island special education certification are preferred.
