Description
The Valley Day School is hiring a full-time Special Education Teacher for a 10-month, Monday-through-Friday schedule in Morrisville, Pennsylvania. The role designs and implements Individualized Education Programs, assesses students, develops lesson plans and instructional methods, monitors progress, collaborates with clinical and behavioral teams, communicates with families, and directs instructional aides. The position requires a current Pennsylvania Professional Certificate in Special Education and the ability to respond to student behaviors and implement crisis-management techniques; experience with IEP development, classroom management, and instructional technology is preferred.
