Description
The Special Education Teacher reports to a Special Education Administrator and provides services to students aged three to twenty-one with moderate to severe disabilities. This role involves leading the IEP team to set data-driven learning and behavioral goals, developing appropriate curricula, and continuously assessing student progress toward those goals. The teacher works in various settings, including resource rooms and self-contained classrooms, across elementary, middle, and high school levels.
