Crescent City Schools is hiring a full-time, 10-month Special Education Teacher for The Constellations Program in New Orleans, Louisiana. The role focuses on teaching and supporting students with autism spectrum disorder and other related disabilities in an in-person, PreK-4th grade setting, including developing IEPs, adapting lessons, delivering instruction in core academic areas, managing behavior, collaborating with families and specialists, and using assessments and assistive strategies to support student progress. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree, Louisiana or equivalent special education certification (or enrollment in an alternative certification program), strong communication skills, and a commitment to serving students with extensive support needs.
