The Special Education Teacher Intern at Morgan Autism Center in San Jose, CA is responsible for classroom management, curriculum design, and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior plans for students with autism or other developmental disabilities. The role involves supervising instructional aides, collaborating with parents and a program team, and maintaining data tracking systems. This full-time position requires a current Education Specialist Credential (moderate to severe) or enrollment in a teaching credential program, along with the ability to engage physically in programming activities and navigate relevant technology. The intern will work Monday to Friday, from 8:15 AM to 3:30 PM, for 210 workdays annually, with occasional off-hour work required.
