Description
The Francophone School Board of British Columbia is hiring a temporary Orthopedagogy specialist for a contract from 01/09/2026 to 30/06/2027. The role collaborates with classroom teachers to implement Level 1 and Level 2 interventions, screens and assesses students with learning difficulties, designs personalized and remedial programs, advises teachers and parents, prepares progress notes, and participates in individualized learning plans and school-team meetings. Candidates need a teaching certificate and an undergraduate degree in special education or orthopedagogy, or an undergraduate teaching degree with a second-cycle degree in special education or orthopedagogy, plus proficiency in French and English. The 2026–2027 salary range is $63,631 to $116,190.
