Description
The SPED Transportation Manager will oversee the daily operations, programs, staff, budgets, safety, compliance, and performance of a Special Education transportation department across multiple campus sites. The role supervises SPED Assistant Managers, develops operational processes and route solutions, coordinates with headquarters and regional teams, manages financial and operational metrics, and supports hiring, onboarding, safety investigations, and continuous improvement. It is an office-based position with regular regional campus visits and some overnight travel, requiring a bachelor’s degree or at least five years of relevant experience, two years of special education experience, five years of hiring and development experience, and two years of transportation operations experience. Compensation is $72,785–$84,431 plus potential performance pay, with medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, retirement, and other benefits.
