Description
FTC/SOCOTEC is hiring experienced Special Inspectors and Field Engineers to perform scheduled building inspections, review and submit reports according to New York State Department of Buildings codes and approved drawings, and complete other assigned duties. The role follows a typical 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. schedule, requires travel to multiple job sites, and offers an hourly rate of $25–$55. Candidates need ICC, AWS, NICET, and/or ACI certifications, including ICC Commercial or Residential Certification, familiarity with the New York City Building Code, the ability to read prints and prepare inspection reports, and a valid driver’s license.
