Description

Carroll Community College is hiring a full-time Campus Police First Line Supervisor to supervise and evaluate campus police personnel, serve as the first-line supervisor when the Chief and Assistant Chief are absent, and provide overall security and safety for the college campus. The role includes emergency response, incident command, investigations, arrests, traffic enforcement, patrols, reporting, staffing, training, and coordination with law enforcement agencies. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, three years of relevant law enforcement, special police, or corrections experience, successful academy training, a valid Maryland driver’s license, handgun and Special Police Officer Commission qualifications, and the ability to work flexible shifts and overtime. The position is on the college’s 12-month employee Non-Exempt Staff salary scale at grade 10 and includes fringe benefits.
