Roper St. Francis Healthcare is hiring a Special Procedures Technologist for its Radiology Services Ancillary department at Roper Hospital in Downtown Charleston. The role performs imaging procedures under radiologist supervision, assists with patient care and informed consent, operates special-procedures equipment, maintains radiation safety and regulatory compliance, and supervises student technologists. The position is a 40-hour day shift Monday through Friday with on-call requirements every four weeks, a $10,000 sign-on bonus, and possible floating to Mount Pleasant Hospital. Applicants need one year of imaging technologist experience or six months of special-procedures/vascular interventional radiology experience, ARRT registration, BLS certification, and graduation from an accredited allied-health program; vascular interventional radiology program completion and VI registration are preferred.
