The Government of Åland is hiring a Specialist Adviser in Water Management for the Environmental Bureau of the Social and Environmental Affairs Department. The role involves processing matters, developing legislation on water resources and water protection, participating in national and international cooperation, managing water monitoring and EU reporting, and coordinating water management projects. Applicants need a university or comparable higher-education degree equivalent to at least four years of full-time study, with administrative, project-management, and collaboration skills considered advantageous. The position starts on 1 January 2027 or by agreement, with a base salary of EUR 4,318.55 per month plus experience-based increments.
