Michigan State University is hiring a founding Director, Office of Postdoctoral Affairs, to relaunch and lead the Office of Postdoctoral Affairs within the Office of Research Innovation. The role will build programming infrastructure, launch a cohort-based postdoctoral scholars program, and develop a university-wide career and professional development ecosystem for approximately 550 postdoctoral researchers. Responsibilities include designing and evaluating career-development programming, supporting postdoctoral scholars, and strengthening faculty mentorship. The position is full-time, based in East Lansing, and requires a master's degree, institutional-scale programming experience, and experience at an R1 research university or comparable institution; a PhD is preferred.
