Description
The Industrial Controls Technician diagnoses, repairs, tests, and maintains industrial electrical equipment, power systems, motor starters, VFDs, PLCs, HMIs, control networks, and field devices. The role performs preventive and corrective maintenance, completes work orders, troubleshoots control circuits and systems up to 480V, replaces components, reconfigures programs, and supports control-system upgrades and vendor projects. It requires three to five years of plant maintenance experience, electrical certifications, control-system troubleshooting and wiring skills, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
