L3Harris is hiring a Specialist, Electrical Engineer in Plano, Texas, for an on-site 1st-shift 9/80 schedule. The role designs and develops electrical systems for military and commercial aircraft and ground stations, including wiring diagrams, circuit breaker and control panels, avionics, RF, LAN, data processing, sensor systems, power distribution, and electrical loads. Responsibilities include CAD and PLM design, engineering documentation, coordination with systems engineering and manufacturing, leading a small team, mentoring engineers, and supporting aircraft testing and integration. The position requires a bachelor’s degree with four years of relevant experience, a graduate degree with two years, or eight years of experience without a degree, along with DoD security clearance eligibility, computer and communication skills, and willingness to travel or relocate.
