L3Harris is hiring a Specialist, FPGA/ASIC Hardware Engineer, Electrical Engineering in Cincinnati, Ohio, for a 4/10 schedule. The role focuses on the architecture, design, development, verification, and debugging of FPGA and ASIC hardware and associated microcontroller firmware for electronic safe and arm devices used in Department of Defense weapon systems. Responsibilities include Verilog HDL design, System Verilog UVM verification, C# microcontroller development, sensor and communication interfaces, and hardware-firmware debugging. The position requires a bachelor’s degree and at least four years of relevant experience, or a graduate degree with at least two years of related experience, or eight years of experience in lieu of a degree.
