The City of Aachen is hiring a Specialist for Public Pools to supervise public swimming facilities, ensure safety and compliance, rescue drowning people and provide first aid, clean and maintain pools, monitor technical facilities, train non-swimmers, and organize leisure and recreational activities. The role requires successful completion of Specialist for Public Pools or Swimming Master’s Assistant/Helper training, along with personal responsibility, flexibility, confidence, teamwork, and conflict-resolution skills. Part-time work is generally possible, and the position offers an unlimited employment contract, flexible hours, occupational health and safety, pension benefits, and a 30-day vacation entitlement.
