The company is hiring a temporary Specialist in Databases and Backend Development to develop, optimize, and maintain database solutions and backend systems in a maritime-industry IT environment. Responsibilities include creating SQL scripts, analyzing and improving database performance, designing schemas, supporting backend programming, ensuring data quality, and implementing requirements from specialist departments. The role requires a computer science or comparable degree, database and data-modeling knowledge, and relevant experience with databases, especially Microsoft SQL Server; knowledge of JavaScript, Angular, Sequelize, Grafana, or Reporting Services is advantageous. The position is based in Kiel and is part of a temporary staff-leasing arrangement.
