The AWO District Association Bergstraße e.V. is hiring a Specialist (m/f/d) for school integration to support students with mental, physical, and intellectual disabilities. The role provides educational support during class and breaks, helps students make contact with peers and the class group, collaborates with parents, teachers, and therapists, promotes frustration tolerance and social skills, structures support with students, and develops conflict-resolution techniques. Applicants need a qualification in social education or a comparable field, strong social competence, willingness to learn and reflect, independent and responsible working style, good IT skills, and a Class B driver’s license; disability-support experience is desirable but not required.
