Description
OceanaGold is hiring an Open Pit Workshop Engineering Specialist to own and optimise engineering-related repairs and projects for mobile equipment at its Macraes mine. Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, the role supervises engineering personnel, develops work scopes, audits wear-package and ground-engaging-tooling conditions, performs welding and light fabrication, monitors wear rates, and coordinates repairs with OGL Boilermakers and contractors. The position follows a 9-day fortnight roster, requires at least five years of open-pit mining experience, a relevant engineering qualification, a current New Zealand driver licence, and an unrestricted New Zealand working visa.
