L3Harris is hiring an on-site Specialist, Mechanical Engineering – Composite Case Design in Huntsville, Alabama, working a 9/80 schedule. The role leads mechanical design for filament-wound composite cases and related propulsion components, develops 3D models and engineering drawings, performs trade studies, coordinates with cross-functional teams, supports production and supplier activities, and contributes to environmental and qualification testing. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree and at least four years of relevant experience, or a graduate degree and at least two years, or eight years of experience without a degree, along with experience in filament-wound composite pressure vessel design and manufacturing methods.
