L3Harris is hiring a Specialist, Mechanical Engineering in Salt Lake City, Utah, on a 9/80 regular schedule. The role tests, troubleshoots, calibrates, repairs, and maintains complex electromechanical and sonar systems and test sets; prepares procedures, schematics, and design documentation; supports procurement, proposals, test readiness, and product integration; and works under general supervision. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, or a related discipline with at least four years of electromechanical-systems experience, or a graduate degree with at least two years of experience, along with U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance. Relevant software includes SolidWorks, MATLAB, Minitab, LabVIEW, ANSYS, and Microsoft Office.
