Description
The Observability Engineer will build, standardize, and operate an enterprise observability platform across applications, infrastructure, and cloud environments. The role focuses on engineering scalable monitoring, alerting, dashboards, telemetry, instrumentation, and automation using New Relic, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, and related technologies, while supporting SRE, cloud, DevOps, platform, application, and operations teams. Responsibilities include establishing observability standards, improving signal quality, integrating observability into CI/CD, defining SLIs and SLOs, investigating incidents, and enabling engineering teams to own operational reliability.
