Michigan State University is hiring a Specialist - Research-Continuing to support researchers using advanced computing resources, including the High Performance Computing Center, cloud and high-throughput computing, secure research clusters, and restricted-data environments. The role provides user support, collaborates on research proposals and software, develops training materials, and participates in national research computing activities. It is a full-time faculty/academic staff position in East Lansing, with a starting start date anticipated in Fall 2026 and a hybrid work environment. Applicants must be U.S. citizens and hold a PhD with a significant research computing component, along with advanced computing, Linux, and programming experience.
