AMGEN is hiring a Specialist Software Engineer – AppliedAI to design, develop, test, and deploy secure, scalable Generative AI agents and Custom GPTs for enterprise teams. The role partners with functional, product, data, platform, DevOps, and business stakeholders; produces technical documentation and handover materials; mentors engineers; and drives adoption through reusable patterns, agent templates, prompt patterns, Databricks notebooks, and n8n workflows. The position is based in the Lisbon office with a hybrid work model and requires a master’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience or a bachelor’s degree with 8+ years, along with 5+ years of software development and system design experience and 3+ years of production Generative AI or Custom GPT experience.
